At the start of the year, I set a goal to submit 9 first-author manuscripts. My mentor thought it was ambitious, but I'm nearly there! 3 commentaries; 2 research pubs in minor revisions; 1 editorial and 1 lit. review under review; submitting 1 research article next week.

Wow!! I had an incredible time at this year's National Black Postdoctoral Association (NBPA) Leadership Symposium at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas! It was a powerful gathering of 70+ Black postdocs from across the country, connecting for three days of science and networking!
