Our Elective Orthopaedic Team have been trialling a new dual operating technique to maximise capacity and reduce wait times for planned care. The technique allows one surgeon to complete up to 10 hip or knee replacements in one day compared to 5 on a single theatre list.

We’re celebrating the 400th successful daycase joint replacement at NUH. Thanks to our expert teams, patients can now have hip & knee replacements and return home the same day. Highlighting our commitment to providing high-quality care while improving patient outcomes.
