Proud to partner with Rwanda Environment Management Authority and Save the Children Rwanda & Burundi in building a new generation of environmental actors. Meaningful youth engagement is essential for lasting environmental change. We look forward to seeing this campaign expand across all 15 districts.

When communities take the lead, nature heals. Last week, we distributed agri-tools to 480 households in Rusizi District to support tree maintenance and boost agroforestry. With capacity building and care, restoration takes root. Thanks for the support of #TerraFund for #AFR100.


In partnership with Rwanda Environment Management Authority and Nature Rwanda, Save the Children concluded the district-level campaign through a school competition on climate action in 15 districts of Rwanda, including the City of Kigali. Excitement is in the air as children attending the finals of the “Ending Plastic Pollution” school competition explore Umusambi Village and Nyandungu Eco-Park, connecting with nature ahead of this afternoon’s #WorldEnvDay celebration, organised by Rwanda Environment Management Authority, Nature Rwanda & Save the Children Rwanda & Burundi.

The best part was seeing children pitch creative, practical projects to beat plastic pollution in their schools and communities. The future looks bright! 💡
