last weekend I went to Denmark with Vic Sautter and, on top of a 2km sand dune which moves 18m north-east each year (which sounds like the beginning of a maths exam question), this happened:

I'm feeling very excited about this one from Marcus du Sautoy The mathematical underpinning of games is fascinating stuff... and I'm lucky enough to be able to see an advance copy shortly. I think this is one game designers, in particular, should not miss.

21X by James Naylor is absolutely bonkers in its ingenuity; it's Blackjack but with formulas, where N is the number of cards you have and X is a number of your choosing! My fave bit is they've invited notable mathematicians to invent a card for the game. Coming to KS soon!
