The tools & tactics ICE is using to arrest US citizens & thousands who pose no threat have existed for decades in misguided immigration laws passed in 1990s. We can enforce civil immigration laws w/o chaos & fear but that requires Congress to step up & finally amend those laws.

The danger isn't in the streets in the city of Chicago. The danger is what’s happening when troops are being sent in to stand on street corners with rifles.

The vice president of the United States thinks it's "pearl clutching" to criticize people who call rape "epic," say "I love Hitler," refer to black people as "monkeys," and declare "everyone who votes no is going to the gas chambers."

This is grossly dark. These are broken people. But it's also so politically dumb. How do they think Americans will react to being told that anyone who doesn't support Trump is a terrorist?
