Re Gary Lineker, easy to get lost in the details. The overall picture is a sincere, politically moderate public figure has been pushed out of his role at the BBC for expressing support for Palestinian rights (& previously for migrant rights).

We have a public sphere in which opposing genocide, crimes against humanity & systematic violations of international law makes you politically beyond the pale. Congratulations to everyone involved. Quite an achievement.
