Families shouldn’t be texting their children during the school day. Children need to be focused during instructional time. If it is a rare emergency, you probably shouldn’t text them, and instead pick them up or contact the school directly. Stop intentionally distracting them.

School of Rock. Guy long term subs for a class of 5th graders. He finds their musical prowess and turns the class into a rock band. Jack Black does a great job bringing the energy and enthusiasm, while also being vulnerable and relatable to the kids. Very entertaining. 8/10.

Double whammy. A disgraced cop has to earn his way back on the force. Through coincidence and hijinx his personal and professional life are entangled until an unlikely outcome is reached. Good actors and moments with them make it tolerable. #wham #bam #nothankyoumaam 4/10
