Thrilled to see my blog on antimalarial drug resistance featured! In it, I looked into the historical context and critical solutions needed to combat this pressing malaria control and elimination issue in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. Thank you, LSHTM AMR Centre for highlighting this!

Today, we celebrate the establishment of the W/Africa Genomics Centre of Excellence in partnership with Oxford Nanopore. The regional hub, a major milestone in scientific #research, will strengthen #Africa-led genomic sequencing, expand capacity & drive research across the continent.
