‘Reform to reverse LTNs,’ enthuses Social Environmental Justice newsletter. This won’t take long as the 10 local authorities controlled by Reform have said they have no LTNs in place. Not ‘some’ or ‘few’. None. theguardian.com/politics/2025/…

Right, so I was asked to take a look at this headline and as you can imagine, there is a lot wrong with it! 🙄 This was initially published in The Times and The Sunday Times and then picked up by the usual GB News, DM, Telegraph etc Let’s take a look….👀 🧵 1/26

Cask ale sales really slow down during the summer & due to short shelf life we've been having to pour a fair bit away every week. We're going to attempt to sell it off instead and thus, for the foreseeable, we will be reducing the price to £3/pint on Wednesdays. CAMRANorthLondon

I read it, Social Environmental Justice. It says buses slow due to - rise in ride-hailing services - narrowed bus lanes - roadworks - not enough dedicated bus lanes - TfL's slow progress on remedies No mention of LTNs. Borough with the biggest drop in bus speeds, Richmond, has no LTNs. 🤔
