Sonnet 4 is available in Cursor! We've been very impressed by its coding ability. It is much easier to control than 3.7 and is excellent at understanding codebases. It appears to be a new state of the art.

For code, SWE-Bench bench error rate is reduced by 50% from Sonnet 3.7 to Sonnet 4! In practice that has improved my quality of life signifanctly because I can iterate over ideas and run experiments much faster without being stuck on my code for a long time! 😄

I am really excited to share a new initiative we've been working on -- the ability to create artifacts that can themselves run API requests against Claude. Now, you can ask Claude to make a Claude-powered app, share it, and anyone can use it with their Claude account. More below!

How fast has society been adopting AI? Back in 2022, ChatGPT arguably became the fastest-growing consumer app ever, hitting 100M users in just 2 months. But the field of AI has transformed since then, and it’s time to take a new look at the numbers. 🧵

Comparing Opus 4 to 4.1, side by side. From sharper design mocks to smoother animations, 4.1 produces more polished outputs—with more depth and complexity. Examples from us and the community:

We’ve developed Claude for Chrome, where Claude works directly in your browser and takes actions on your behalf. We’re releasing it at first as a research preview to 1,000 users, so we can gather real-world insights on how it’s used.
