We're celebrating our 12th birthday today! 🎉 12 years ago, King Ecgbert School founded our trust, partnering with Nether Edge Primary School & TotleyPrimarySchool. Newfield School & Woodlands Primary School joined soon after. In 2018, we opened Mercia School, and in 2023, welcomed Anns Grove Primary.

This week, primary teachers from our trust met at Nether Edge Primary School to discuss and compare writing quality. A dedicated team created materials to support writing moderation. A great example of trust collaboration! #sheffieldschools

Welcome to our trust, Mark Bennett! We are delighted to announce that Mark Bennett will join our trust as headteacher at Woodlands Primary School in September. Woodlands Primary School

TotleyPrimarySchool's Year 6s spent a day in a design tech lesson at King Ecgbert School , led by the DT department. They learned 3D printing, sustainable home design, and more. This first-time event was great prep for Year 7 and inspired future STEM careers!

Thank you to Shaffaq Mohammed 🔶 for visiting this morning, concluding our Meet the Candidate series. Mercia scholars and pupils have had the opportunity to hear from major parities in Sheffield Hallam ahead of next week’s election, promoting engagement with democracy 🗳️

Thank you to Cllr Nighat Basharat who visited last week to speak to pupils and scholars about leadership, confidence, and aspiration, sharing her experiences and stories 🙋

It was great to visit Nether Edge Primary School primary school and hear about the fantastic work they're doing. The children did a wonderful job of taking me around their school to see their artwork and tell me all about the books they are reading. They were brilliant hosts 🌹
