Happy and proud to announce that our recent paper on clusters in ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) was published yesterday in The Lancet Rheumatology. Using an unprecedented large cohort of 3,868 patients, we confirmed that AAV is not merely a binary construct! FAIRVASC

Karl Gisslander et al. identified 5 clusters of AAV, 3 of which characterized by kidney involvement. Compared with clinical diagnosis or ANCA status, cluster-based models showed improved predictive power for both patient and kidney survival. FAIRVASC The Lancet Rheumatology
