I'M COOKED. Diversifying your income is a very smart idea. Especially, if you're building a product that has no revenue yet. Our daughter is struggling through 1st grade. Plenty of compounding effects, but the main one is speaking a different language at home than at school.

The frustrating thing about scraping projects is that you can step away for two weeks, and when you come back - some of your workflows are broken. This is an unreleased product so no big deal probably, but, if it was live, that'd be a source of sudden stress.

Two headless chickens joining the arena together. A big issue many small businesses face is that they lack business sense and, often, the domain knowledge in their field. And the service providers they can afford are the same! You take an arrow to the knee before you get to

Most of the time I see the feed on X, because I use DMs. If there was an easy way to move DMs off-platform, I'd spend way less time on X.

A huge problem with AI ecom is that there are too many hallucinations about what the product does/offers, that you need to verify it first-hand anyway. This problem is not solved by the new Agentic Commerce Protocol, either. And a lot of traffic is just top-of-the-funnel.

The most degenerate thing about this is that the app is banned from the App Store, because they were straight up scamming people. The grift hasn't really changed since the 2000s, but it's getting scaled way faster. Resist the urge to give them money, or more NPCs will spawn.

"Starting October 31, 2025, Microsoft Clarity will enforce stricter GDPR consent signal requirements for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and Switzerland, impacting data collection" Two days left and I see zero posts on my feed. You just don't track anything?

AI bubble reaching it's peak. A game my daughter plays is now locked behind an AI-powered Comet browser from Perplexity. Whatever it takes to get your user numbers up for the next funding round.
