🚉We've completed the next stage of work for the new Okehampton Interchange station in Devon 🏗️25 bored piles were driven 12 metres into the ground to support the new platform, bridge and lift 🌉The next stage sees the bridge and lift shaft lifted into place in the autumn

🛠️Trains are back up and running between Gloucester and Lydney this morning following a week of non-stop work 🌊650 yards of new drainage was installed and 700 yards of track replaced 🚆This work will help prevent flooding and keep your journeys safe and smooth for the future

🌉 Back in October we refurbished multiple Somerset bridges. 🏗️Middledrove in Bleadon needed full demolition & replacement. 🚆We reopened the line to trains at the time but have today finished & reopened the road over it too 🚗 👍Completed safely & on time - looking fab.

👍All's well on our track renewal in Stoke Gifford. 🛤️The 1st of 2 lines is in and the stone compacted. Now it's onto welding & stressing (putting rails under tension) for improved performance & resilience. ℹ️Work's in Filton this weekend, returning to Stoke Gifford next week.

🛤 With the 1st of 2 new lines done in Stoke Gifford, South Glos  we're now installing new track panels to replace points in Filton. ℹ️ On our 2 week upgrade, we're installing 1,480 tonnes of fresh stone. 👍 It's all for the continued safe & reliable running of the railway.

💪 All the heavy lifting is complete on our South Gloucestershire track renewals. 🛤 We've fully installed both lines at Stoke Gifford as well as new track for our points in Filton last weekend. ⏳️ Now it's finishing touches & testing before trains resume tomorrow morning.
