A bible of every electrophysiologist! The book talks about what happens in the nervous system from a moment you detect a cookie, through your deliberation of whether to take it, and during the cookie movement to your mouth 😆 Thanks Mark Humphries for the epic journey indeed 😊

What an amazing talk by FeldmanHall Lab at #RLDM2022! Reward from the environment is not the same as our emotional perception of this reward, and it matters for our choices 😊

Proud to share this innovative work by our lab, spearheaded by Célian Bimbard! Turns our that a lot of the auditory-evoked responses in V1 can be explained by animals’ movements and internal state. nature.com/articles/s4159…

1. Standard statistical tests can find false-positive “nonsense correlations” between slowly drifting but unrelated variables. A preprint with Kevin Miller describes one approach to this problem: conditional randomization tests. arxiv.org/abs/2311.03554

Beyond excited to share the main project of my PhD! We found a brain region that makes mice perseverate in a reward-learning task 🐭🍫. Very thankful to my collaborators for their insights and patience throughout the years ☺️

[1/5] Our paper “Tracking neurons across days with high-density probes” is now out in Nature Methods! rdcu.be/dVhCN UnitMatch is a software for chronic electrophysiology that will automatically track neurons for months!
