50-28 over Wenatchee Polo continues to lead the charge 18-6-4 w 7stls. Ketchum had career high 15-4-2-2 (6-10 FT). Tat 11 pts (3 3s) + 5asst. DeLeon, Veetutu & Knopf had 12, 8, 5 boards ea + combined 8assts. Diaw great buzzer beater!

1st 3Qs were tight even w starters in foul trouble, but Eastmont’s 9pt run Q4 sealed it 28-41. Polo competed 12-7-4-4. Knopf 8-1-0-1. DeLeon career high 6blks. Veetutu (2 ORB/5DRB) & Ketchum’s 2-5-3 impacted. W/ 2nd half of season here, reducing TOs & better shots needed ASAP.

After tying Q1 & winning Q2, Q3 decided game w 14 to 32 scoring & sleepy D. Final 54-75 v NorthCreek. The +s: 5 players w 3s. Polo battled 18-8-6-3. Knopf 10pts 2rebs. Tat, DeLeon & Ketchum impacted offensively. Veetutu 10rebs. Bench contributed nicely.

Road game at Sammamish HS today. ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Knights led 9-0 in Q1, but w/ 3 starters in foul trouble before the half & high TOs to pts, 42-52 L vs Sammamish. Polo came back swinging 23-3 & 6stls (6-6FT). Knopf was steady 7-2-2 (2-2FT). DeLeon 6-6-3blks, Veetutu’s 7rebs, & Ketchum 5-4-2 gave team chances to battle back.

Knights 52-29 Highline. Knights pick pocketed w 25 team stls. Veetutu was an impact player w 8assts 5stls & good back court duo w/ Polo (19-4-1-8). Payton’s logo buzzer energized 12-3-0-5. Deleon & Diaw tough on boards, Ketchum’s assists & 2nd team’s steadiness helped w the W.

35-42 tight matchup v Skyline. Knights D & drawing fouls were solid but TOs & missed FT made a difference. Polo 15-8-0-2 & Ketchum 10-1-1-2 led offense. DeLeon, Veetutu crashed boards w 7 & 6 a piece & w Diaw had 4combined blks. Knopf & Tat show toughness thru injury/illness.

Great ball movement, smart offense & active rebounding earned a 54-31 W v Renton. Polo cooked from all 3 levels w 29(6 3s)-3-6-3. Knopf & Tat were threats w 8pts (2 3s) ea. Ketchum tough from both ends 6-9-1-2. Deleon (2-6-5-5) & Veetutu (0-9-2-2) impacted w/o needing to score.

49-67 v Redmond. Tight game w Knights trailing by 2 by end of Q3. Q4 only had 5pts by Polo who was solid 23-5-4-6. Veetutu nice put backs 8-10-1-3. Tat battled 9-4. Ketchum gave dimes w 5 & Knopf’s 7 boards helped rally. Defense & inability to get their shooters open cost Q4.

Knights 52-68 v NorthCreek. Lots of assists across players. After quick fouls, Polo returned to game 23- 5-3-3. Veetutu was aggressive 8-6-5-4. DeLeon’s 11 and Ketchum’s 6 boards helped rally. Tat and Knopf impacted. Playing better D & embracing roles will be key in next games.
