One of the things to look forward to when at a conference like #IASP2022 is the side by side poster picture with my supervisor Mike Hildebrand. Glad to say we got a good one! Can't wait to present this afternoon at 3pm!π€©

Congrats to MSc student in the lab Marrium Khan on a fantastic #CanadianPain23 poster presentation today! π Canadian Pain Society NeuroCarleton

Batting clean-up for the Hildebrand lab is Justin Bellavance presenting on sex differences in gene expression in mouse spinal cord, including an online tool available for all (Poster D-667, 1:30 PM). An outstanding honours thesis project and emerging computational neuroscience star!

Huge congrats to simon vanderloo on the GG Silver medal! Simon is such a talented, bright, and caring individual and so humble that he never even told us he was receiving this top award! A star in academics, research and life! ππ NeuroCarleton

Well done simon vanderloo! Wow! Your at the head of your graduating class! Amazing! π€© Thank you for always being so fun to work with and being a well-rounded and caring person! Congratulations! ππ

Congrats to Newton Martin for an excellent MSc defense! π Such cool work combining scRNA-seq analysis tools and RT-qPCR to explore NMDAR expression across sex, species, and spinal cord region. π
