I’m unable to attend the City Council taxpayer night tonight, but I hope our elected leaders will take seriously: 1) Today’s report showing police killing people. 2) The Mayor’s proposed budget, which adds $21 million to an already bloated BPD budget.

I’m 100% “on the Left” and it’s clear to me that some leftists simply got negatively polarized against Libs liking Abundance. We need to build more housing! It’s good for the homeless. It’s good for renters. It’s good for society. No scarcity mindset on the left!

I’ve had hundreds of meetings with city and state lawmakers about child poverty. Everyone says they agree it’s a problem….then says it’s someone else’s job to fix it. So a third of kids in the city still live in poverty.

NYC mayor race is a great example of why it’s silly to blame entire demographics for election outcomes. People are individuals.
