258 different student athletes participated in training between yesterday and today. School enrollment projected around 700. Pretty solid! Still room to improve.

Metabolic Conditioning Day. One of my favorite tools to start summer with. 15y up and back. 25s between reps. 1:00 between sets Sprint - Carioca - Power Skip - Shuffle - Backward Sprint - Sprint. Rest. Repeat.

Girls Soccer bringing the JUICE!!! Testing Chin Ups, even though they hated it, and they still got after it! Doing things we don’t like with uncommon effort separates the great from the good. Ironic that they were Regional Champs last season! Loveland Women’s Soccer NHSSCA - OH

Our Boys Soccer program coming off a state title is still laying the foundation for a successful upcoming season. Some of their session included - Rudiment Series - Hurdle Hops (not shown) - Fly 10’s - Trap Bar Deadlift - Barbell Bench Press

The 🔑 to great training is effort/intent, but you don’t leave a great session instantly better. Try hitting a PR at the end of a hard lift. The success is determined by how well you refuel and recover. & if you train too often, you aren’t absorbing stress, your accumulating it.

Training 2-3x a week and playing your sport 4-5x a week for 16-24 weeks>>>>training 5-6x a week and playing your 6-7x a week for 8-12 weeks. If you like results, do the 1st one. If you like increasing your odds of injury, choose the 2nd.

“Lone Wolf” Training Only Gets You So Far You might be working hard this summer Nobody’s questioning that. But when you’re always training alone, You’re missing one of the most powerful forces in development: Competition. No teammates to chase. No one pushing the pace. No one

My advice to athletes going on vacation this summer is to enjoy vacation. I really don’t think working out on vacation moves the needle that much for performance unless it helps you relax. If you train consistently annually, a week off relaxing will only help you when you return.

We work to get faster just as much as we work to get stronger. One is not more important than the other. Starting to see more athletes run sub 1.2 in the 5-10 fly. If you get faster, you will be a better athlete.

Girls soccer is off to a strong start this summer. Our focus in June has been: • Unilateral Strength • Speed/Power Development • Consistency
