Thank you Division of Cancer & Genetics for having me! Was great to talk about my ongoing research and how fantastic my professional training year has been. Now even more excited to continue my research career, couldn’t have done it without Alex Tonks (despite my terrible candids!😂) 👩🔬

Grateful to Health and Care Research Wales for funding our continued studies and to Blood Cancer UK Research who funded the original study; quantitating nuclear proteomics in #AML. Thanks also to MediWales Review and Directory 2023 - Issuu for highlighting this issuu.com/teamworksdesig… 👇

Sad to leave after such a fantastic year with Division of Cancer & Genetics Cardiff University School of Medicine for my Cardiff University School of Biosciences PTY. Massive thanks to Alex Tonks for welcoming me into your lab. Now for the project write up and final year of biomedical science.. PhD advice is appreciated!!

Today we say goodbye to Niamh Niamh O’Neill. She has been a truly exceptional student and will return to her final year CU BLS Research College of BLS Biosci to finish her undergraduate studies. I have been blessed by having such a wonderful Student to mentor over the last year

Delighted to have obtained status as an Associate Fellow Advance HE in recognition of my teaching and learning activities in higher education. Thank you to Alex Tonks for the support throughout! A great way to end my Cardiff University School of Biosciences PTY. Excited to expand upon this 👩🎓📚#AFHEA

A younger student recognised me when packed up and approached to say they were interested in my research and therefore inspired to take a PTY - Moments like that really make a difference 😄 Thank you Cardiff University School of Biosciences for the opportunity and such a well run day!

To shine a light on blood cancer, Blood Cancer UK came to Cardiff University Division of Cancer & Genetics. We also did this video youtube.com/watch?v=6LXq3q… 🔬 Looked at some blood cancer cells 🧬Changed cancer cell genetics so they longer grow 🦠 Created using viruses -the cells glow green (see below)

Fantastic to support Blood Cancer UK in raising awareness of blood cancers. Especially grateful to BCUK for funding studies to #beatbloodcancer and understand more about #AML.
