It was my absolute pleasure to operate with Scott Robinson for the last time as a UoM Vascular Surgery resident. UF Vascular hired an amazing surgeon- I will miss you friend.

Changing of the guard. Farewell to AJ Davidson - graduating fellow. Travis AFB and UCD are lucky to get you back. Such a great educator. Even on your last day you mentored put newest UoM Vascular Surgery intern Luciano Delbono #GoBlue

Certainly have taken more of these out than I have put in. Rapidly expanding AAA 7yrs after implantation at OSH-multiple fabric tears and component separation. At least they are easy to removeā¦#aortaed UoM Vascular Surgery

Super proud of Chloe Powell, UoM Vascular Surgery @UMichCHOPFellow , presenting American Heart Association @nih_nhlbi funded research on provider decision making in claudication with @sociologymary #SMDM22

The perverse incentives that drive overuse of interventions in claudication must be addressed. The inappropriate use results in millions of dollars of profit for individual providers at the expense of patient limbs. This must stop. Excellent The New York Times article.

Agree- payers will ratchet down reimbursement, but another procedure will come along. Fee for service incentivizes procedures, not medical management. Societies and vascular professionals must own quality and appropriateness Caitlin Hicks MD, MS Adam W. Beck
