Great to have Nick O'Donohoe, CEO of British International Investment, the 🇬🇧 development finance institution, in #Johannesburg this week. BII's investment will contribute to South Africa's economy, creating jobs and supporting inclusive growth. 🇿🇦

I’m enjoying taking in the diverse perspectives of contributors to The African Climate Conversation from British International Investment. Lots of food for thought ahead of COP27 on how communities across Africa can address the climate crisis: bii.co.uk/african-climat…

As part of the Adaptation and Resilience Investors Collaborative we're accelerating critical private investment in climate adaptation and resilience. Delighted to meet with members of ARIC at #COP27 and to join with UNEP Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) who will be supporting the partnership.

We were delighted that Foreign Secretary James Cleverly🇬🇧 joined us last week as we announced our new $75 million partnership with AfricanGuaranteeFund to fund African SMEs. bii.co.uk/en/news-insigh…

I visited Port Autonome de Dakar L'officielle today with DP World - UK to discuss the new port of Ndayane. Another example of the fabulous work of British International Investment. Now the world’s longest established DFI and key partner of DPW in Africa.

Last week I was in Pakistan and had the opportunity to visit several businesses in our portfolio. This included meeting inspiring women entrepreneurs supported by Kashf Foundation, and visiting Zephyr Power, a wind farm providing clean renewable energy to Pakistan's grid.

I’m proud of the impact British International Investment has had in India since we first invested there in the 1980s. Our new report explores our recent impact and current strategy. bii.co.uk/en/news-insigh…

I was pleased to visit one of our investees Kashf Foundation in Pakistan earlier this year, and to meet some of the women the company is supporting, to build their businesses and create additional income

I’m delighted to share British International Investment's Annual Review 2022: Investing for a better tomorrow – bii.co.uk/annual-review-… I’m proud that despite a series of global challenges over the past year, we made £1.27 billion of new, impact-led commitments. youtube.com/watch?v=kAbJPZ…

Always a pleasure meeting with @BritishInvInv CEO Nick O'Donohoe. Our partnership is strong and we're always looking to expand our joint investments in developing economies.
