Good numbers of Redwing currently going overhead in Hove calling Sussex Birding

Pleased to find 2 Great-spotted Cuckoo's not far from our North Cyprus base this afternoon on our Naturetrek trip! Other highlights today include a stunning Cyprus Wheatear, many orchids including the target Cyprus Orchid !


Crazy scenes as Red-rumped Swallows dropped in on us today like flies, easily 200 birds plus migrating today with Barm Swallows...magical 🙂 on our Northern Cyprus Naturetrek




Fairly decent sea-watch off Worthing this am, 2 dp Arctic Skua, Bonxie, small numbers of Whimbrel and Bar-tailed Godwits, 6 Avocet, Commic Tern passage etc Worthing Birding and Wildlife Sussex Birding



Pre-dusk visit to #stainesres produced 50+ arctic terns, 1 ad. black tern, 2 ad. little gulls, 300+ swift, 100+ mixed hirundines, 2 GND and 2 dunlin. Amazing to see all the terns hunting and hear the swifts screaming Free Rare Bird News, UK 🇬🇧 London Bird Club #londonbirds


Good morning at Pulborough, Green-winged Teal was still on north Brooks, my first Swifts of the year plus Greenshank and Ruff on South Brooks Sussex Birding



The Cuckmere Red-necked Phalarope showed well eventually good scope views were had, bird still showing when I left at 13.45 BirdGuides Sussex Birding UK Birds Sussex Ornithology
