A nice study by Nicolò Gatti e Beatrice Retali estimates the monetary benefits of the Swiss lockdown implemented in March. Even taking into account age specific behavioral responses they estimate up to 35'000 lives saved. This amount to roughly 100 billion Swiss francs.USI University
