Didn’t know whether to bring this one in but decided to in the end. He was horribly caught in a chicken wire fence; luckily a neighbour ran to get cutters while I held him to ensure he didn’t choke or strangle. Just checking he’s mobile before we set him free. Gorgeous creatures.

Hedgehog update: all well. He’d eaten, moved around, peed & pooed so we let him go in the night, when he’d be more relaxed. Not in the spot where we found him, unfortunately as it was v exposed, and we feared he might try to get through the fence again. Stay safe little man/lady!

Although the Tory leadership contest is top headline today, hasn’t it been grand that their nasty little psycho dramas have been pretty low on the news agenda throughout the contest. Wonder how long the next revolting little toe rag will last. Yuck.
