Excited to attend the ESRC Digital Good Network Summer School this week. First day and we've already seen so much interesting and important research. These are the best moments of doing a PhD being part of such a diverse and welcoming PGR community is exciting.

Also, I started the day winning so I now expect only good things at the Digital Good Network Summer School.

We spent the day provotyping at the ESRC Digital Good Network Summer School today. Our group created Fluffbot for assisted living, a robot that not only helps elderly people with mobility or health issues, but also prevents isolation by fostering community and connection between humans.

3 days in the ESRC Digital Good Network Summer School went really fast. Probably because it was both fun and intense, lots of inspiration and food for thought. But best of all, met PGRs from around the world working towards the digital good.

It was a fantastic opportunity. My smile in the photos shows how joyous it is to share this experience with other PGRs. Thank you to the DGN team!

Sent my postal vote. It was my first time voting at a GE in over 20 years living in the UK. A small act in the grand scheme of things, but a big deal personally after feeling disenfranchised in the country I call home for most of my life.

I think I finally found my millennial quirk: I cannot book appointments with businesses via Instagram. Already gave up 3 times (tattoo, nails and braiding) because I need a reservation system with a calendar and an email confirmation. DM bookings are not real.

Watched Threads tonight. So much more traumatizing than I expected. Explosions, corpses and effluvia to give me nightmares for years. Apparently a rite of passage for anyone living in Sheffield. I'll never look at the Moor the same way. 10/10 would recommend.
