NI Science Festival event 22nd organised by Helen Keys & Charlie Mallon exploring #Linen production - food, fuel and fibres represent a huge opportunity for farm diversification providing farm household incomes with low carbon & nature friendly approaches in rotation with veg!


A cracking day of mapping, drawing, planting, apple tree pruning, sunshine & chats, for the connecting & sharing through food event, with the Belfast Food Partnership as part of NI Science Festival #NISF25 thanks to everyone who came down, helped out, & shared their knowledge


Great innovation with textiles, flax & linen. Mallon Farms Helen Keys & Charlie Mallon & the growing fibre innovation network across Ireland & the UK. A lovely 2 wk exhibition on flax to linen process, robot spinner wars, & flax chats. NI Science Festival Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water Belfast Exposed


The last day of NI Science Festival - a glorious wander around Ulster Museum for #wildireland, seeing loads of families doing our ESRC Centre for Early Mathematics Learning maths explorers and hearing my wonderful colleague Ian Millar discuss his latest book. I am so proud of this wonderful festival.
