🔬 At SCORE, Kenzie Medley's physical science class wrapped up the year with some fun outdoor experiments. Students learned about chemical reactions when put under pressure. 🧪

🦅 Mathews' fourth-grade leaders shared about our school's experience with Portrait of an Eagle. They welcomed about 30 area principals and superintendents to Mathews, gave a presentation, answered questions, and took the guests on a building tour. 🦅

☀️🎈 Students had a blast outside at field day with fun games and activities! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It's game time! ⚾️ First graders at Century Elementary participated in some "Spring Training" with the high school baseball team. They practiced telling time while running relay races. 🏃‍♂️

🍳 Inman students shared their culinary expertise with the Inman staff. Students helped make, fill, and deliver popcorn orders to the very grateful teachers. A Community Foundation of the Ozarks grant made this opportunity possible! 🍿

🌧️ Seventh graders at Nixa Junior High reviewed weather concepts in their Science classes by working together to create weather-related videos. ☀️

🥚 At Summit Intermediate, Ashley Bracker’s science class completed an egg hunt while answering questions all about eclipses. Students had to hop to each egg they found! 🌕

🍽 Inman students shared their culinary expertise with the staff. Students helped make, fill, and deliver popcorn orders to the grateful teachers. The Community Foundation of the Ozarks Community Foundation of the Ozarks grant made this opportunity possible. 🍿

☀️ In Ashley Bracker's summer school class at Summit, students celebrated their learning of the great outdoors by creating solar ovens and using them to make s'mores! 🍫

🎊 High Pointe second graders in Debby Mays' class celebrated a successful school year with a Beach Party Day! There was so much creativity and fun as they dreamed of waves and sunshine. 🏝️

📖🦅 Century Principal Cara Blevins made a special visit to wrap up the year with a fun read-aloud! Kindergarteners loved learning more about her before heading off to first grade! 👏

Kanyon Faust and Whitney Mueth attended the FFA Washington Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. 🏛️ They met a national FFA officer, developed leadership skills, and participated in a meal packing event where they packaged over 75,000 meals. 🍽️

🌾 Recently, transitional kindergarten and first-grade students from JTSD visited Rutledge Wilson Farm! 🧑‍🌾 They explored the farm, met animals 🐓🐄, played on the playground, and learned about life cycles and animal habitats. A fun and educational day on the farm! 🌻

🎶 The Aetos Singers from Nixa High School and the JTSD Discovery Singers from John Thomas School of Discovery were selected to perform at the 88th annual Missouri Music Educators Association conference in January 2026, continuing the tradition of Nixa choirs in this event. 🎉
