I really miss the old twitter. Now, this is just a cesspool of angry mean racist people yelling in your face even when you have tried to block them and locked the door. I think it might be time to leave, enjoy the real world, and let the bots at each other.

This brouhaha shows how much of our discourse is shaped through a white lens. If you’re Asian, you have hundreds of aunties, khalas and puphis and other distinct relatives. It’s not limited to blood relation. It simply denotes respect, closeness and love among friends and family.

NEW: the Ford government’s appointed school supervisors can spend up to $350,000/year, according to the education minister. That money will come from school board budgets, not the ministry of education. To compare: the TDSB’s 22 trustees made just over $550,000 last year.

Did anyone actually see the NY election results on Twitter? I just saw several people who I never followed and have even blocked having racist meltdowns. More than ever, this shows this site has become useless and completely irrelevant.
