Becoming a sensory professional is as much about training as it is about learning. NKG PACE Partners will be immersed in the lab, focusing on QC day in and day out. We're accepting applications for the our QC program for Black coffee professionals until 11/30!

NKG PACE is open to members of the Black community who are interested in careers in coffee that include sensory analysis, quality-lab management, and Q Grader training. Are you interested in learning more about this seed? Applications to become a PACE Partner are due 11/30!

NKG PACE, created in close cooperation with Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity (CCRE) , is a QC training program for Black Americans creating opportunities to welcome greater diversity into coffee. Applications, including a letter of rec, are due 11/30.

As Phyllis said about PACE in the Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity (CCRE) newsletter, “We’re excited for all the incredible talent, and opportunities that will arise through the empowerment of Black coffee professionals learning skills that are in demand throughout various parts of our industry.”

nkgpace is a brand-new program for three paid, apprentice-style QC positions for Black Americans starting 5/22. The application deadline is 11/30 at 5 PM ET. We hope you'll take a chance and apply — or please help us spread the word.

Welcome to day two of Re:co. Our last plenary session featured Jenn Rugolo, Peter Giuliano, Dr. Fabiana Carvalho, and Catalina Eikenberg, who explored attributes that gained a significant amount of traction during the pandemic, and attributes that seemed poised for growth.
