Rave reviews on this pre-conference field trip to the Durango Pumping Plant! Bureau of Reclamation led an interesting & thorough tour of the plant’s operations. The plant draws water from the Animas River for storage in Lake Nighthorse as part of the Animas-La Plata Project. #DurangoCO 💦

NMSU caps are on display at the Groundwater Resilience Assessment through iNtegrated Data Exploration for Ukraine (GRANDE-U) project kickoff in Warsaw. Dr. Fernald is PI of the NMSU subgrant of the larger project to better understand transboundary groundwaters of eastern Europe.
