The #HarmfulAlgalBloom in western Lake Erie has an approximate area of 10 square miles. Satellite imagery shows patches of cyanobacteria in North Maumee Bay near Erie, MI in far western Lake Erie. Sandusky Bay has a local bloom of mixed cyanobacteria. coastalscience.noaa.gov/science-areas/…
