Strongsville fell to a very good East Lake ballclub today 4-1. Mitch Midea gave up 1 run on 1 hit with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts in 4 innings and Giovanni Lombardo singled home Jack Frank to tie the score at 1 in the 5th. Strongsville plays St. John's Country Day tomorrow at 2 pm.

Strongsville picked up their first win of the year vs. St. John's Country Day 5-3. Austin Mucurio was two outs from a perfect game, throwing only 69 pitches in 6.1 inn. Giovanni Lombardo went 2 for 3 with an RBI triple & excellent baserunning to beat out a would-be force at 2nd.

Strongsville fell to 1-3 in the Florida League HS Invitational after a 5-2 loss to Westfield (VA). Ryan Hartman went 2 for 3, Jack Frank went 1 for 3 with a SB and a run and Giovanni Lombardo went 1 for 3 with an RBI and a SB. Thanks to everyone for making this trip possible!

Strongsville improved to 2-3 (1-0 GCC) with a 17-8 win at Brunswick. Giovanni Lombardo continued his hot hitting with 3 more hits & Lombardo, Mitch Midea, & Trevor Denning all had 3 RBI in the win. Strongsville is scheduled to host Brunswick, weather permitting, at 4:30 tomorrow.
