North Cedar students put their engineering skills to the test in the Levee Engineering Challenge, using recycled materials to design and build barriers capable of keeping water out. With only 8 minutes to construct their levees, teams had to think quickly and work efficiently.

Recently, a few of our advanced biology students visited Kirkwood Community College. There, students had the opportunity to observe and interact and view cadavers donated for scientific study. Following this, they toured the nursing simulation lab at Kirkwood.
