For so many musculoskeletal conditions, to me, it makes so much more sense to bypass primary care and surgical specialties and simply go right to a physical therapist. Does not seem to be a very controversial opinion any longer to me.

I don't know about you guys but I find it very common that radiologist will call this non-displaced, estimate 2 mm displacement --underestimating. Then, same day CT shows 5 mm displacement.
posted many over yrs but, don't think we have answers. For me, at least 60% of subchondral head insuff tx's occur shortly s/p steroid inj. Whether correlative or cause no idea. But a common history is "acutely worse pain after steroid injection"...MR...fx🤷♂️
