I want to start this process to create multimedia art: 1. Starting with a beat or a musical experiment 2. Write stories that sound evoke in my mind 3. Use Midjourney/Runway to bring the story to life Would work in reverse as well. Full concept, music to image.

99% of music production tutorials are about recreating a certain sound. Yet, most artists struggle to find their own sound. Instead, they could: • Use sounds others are not using • Curate what feeds their brain • Experiment more Copying is easy. Creating is more rewarding.

"That new sample pack is sick, everyone is using it" Well, that's exactly why I don't wanna get it. Fine for foundational sounds (kick and stuff), but I prefer to be sure I'll get sounds that are different.

Visited his home 6 months ago. Without a doubt, Dali had exceptional skills and a unique vision. But his persona was what brought him into History. We like to think Tiktok brought this change (people following artists for their persona over their craft) It just amplified it.

The same way you take care of your body by filtering what you eat, you should take care of your mind by filtering what you consume.

If you don't go near the water, you won't catch a fish. It's the same for creativity: • Schedule time for it • Join the right environment • Be patient but do the work Yes, sometimes inspiration strikes when you don't expect it. But 99% of the time you have to fish for it.

To be more creative, constraints are the ultimate hack. Play with: • Time • Tools • Space • Prompts or concepts • Choice of instruments It's funny that most of my best tracks were all made being constrained by one of those parameters (unconsciously).

How to become great at any creative task: - Pick a specific skill - Block 15 min every morning to practice it - Iterate on the same task - 1% better each day - Commit to doing it for 100 days There is absolutely NO WAY you would have not improved!

Copying Daft Punk: • Sample Disco records • Filtered bass • Acid lines • Vocoder Stealing Daft Punk: • Merge influences • Use a strong repetitive hook • Create a world • Vocoder (using individual ingredients is stealing, not copying!)

Facts: The more attempts an artist makes, the more masterpieces he makes. Ideas are like lottery tickets. The more you get, the greater the odds one of them is valuable.

Generative art is just an extreme example of where art is going. What matters most now is: - Initial seed idea - Curation of the generated material In other words, technicality is getting less and less relevant. Creativity and taste are becoming absolutely necessary.
