Takbeer...Allahu Akbar! Tanaya embraced Islam with us at the Nottm Islam Information Centre shortly after Friday Jumu'ah Prayers. She got in touch with us via email and we responded. Assisted her Shahadah and gifted her some books to read. May Allah accept her Shahadah...ameen.

Alhamdullilah, once again we taught around 150 children from Woodthorpe Infants School the famous Five Pillars of Islam in the afternoon assembly. Children were very inquisitive in asking questions, they were polite and courteous towards our Imam. Great opportunity to teach.

Allah the Most High says; “Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibraheem (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad ﷺ) and those who have believed (Muslims)” [Qur'an 3:68]. - Our Du'at giving Da'wah in Nottingham City Centre.

Alhamdillilah, one of our representatives of Nottm Islam visited Arnold View Primary School this afternoon to teach around 90 children the Five Pillars of Islam. Many questions were asked and they all enhanced their knowledge on the different acts of worship to Allah.

Mabrook & Congratulations to Muhammad Naeem and Sharon who did their Nikah this evening at the Da'wah Centre. Sharon also reverted to Islam and has decided to live the rest of her life as a Muslimah. May Allah bless the new couple with much offspring and Jannatul Firdous..ameen.

Today we taught around 90 children from Southwark Primary School the 5 Pillars of Islam and in particular the Pillar of Hajj. We used PowerPoint Presentations, Animated Cartoons, Islamic Attire & Demo's of the Prayer. They enjoyed the delicious Baklawa and Sweets towards the end.

"And whoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (of every difficulty), and He will provide for him from (sources) he never could imagine." [Qur'an 65:2-3]

Prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace) said; “The believers most perfect in faith are those best in character.” (Sunan at-Tirmidhi) - Our Du'aat giving the Muslim youth advice and guidance. May Allah grant the next generation Emaan, Strength and Courage to overcome evils...ameen.

Takbeer...Allahu Akbar! Kavija just embraced Islam with us at the Nottingham Islam Information Centre. First day of Ramadan and Kavija wanted to become a Muslim. From Hinduism to Islam. May Allah accept it from her and keep her on the Straight Path...ameen.

Members of Nottingham Islam taught around 90 children from Woodthorpe Infants School about fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan. Our representative showed them a copy of the Qur'an and Prayer Mat, and answered many of the questions from the inquisitive children. A warm welcome.

Fasting is an act of worship that was a command & practice for numerous Prophets sent by Allah in the past. As our beloved Prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace) said; “The Prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is the same.”- Sahih Bukhari

Fast for the Future was our message yesterday in Nottm City Centre. Conveying the Message of Islam to Christians, Atheists & Agnostics. Fruitful discussions, Qur'ans distributed & opened our fasts with hundreds of other Muslims in the Old Market Square. Iftar in the Square.

Members of Nottm Islam Info Point taught around 130 children about the Holy Month of Ramadan at Arnold View Primary School in Nottingham today. They were asking a lot of questions about the Qur'an and wanted our representative to recite some Qur'an. It was our pleasure to.

Every Monday after Maghrib for New Muslims and Born Muslims who want to know the basics of Islam.

Children from the 7th Nottingham Scouts group came to visit the Nottingham Islam Information Centre yesterday to learn about the 5 Pillars of Islam. They witnessed the evening prayers, watched an animated cartoon, engaged in quizzes and really enjoyed our hospitality.

"Those blind ˹to the truth˺ and those who can see are not equal, nor are those who believe and do good ˹equal˺ to those who do evil. Yet you are hardly mindful. The Hour is certainly coming, there is no doubt about it. But most people do not believe." (Qur'an 40:58-59)

Alhamdullilah we conducted another school assembly at Woodthorpe Infants School today to talk about the 5th Pillar of Islam, Hajj. A model of the Kaba was used in the presentation to give a better illustration of the House of Allah that Muslims face towards when worshipping God.
