Today’s #GreenJobs training focused on marketing & branding — helping participants position their green businesses for impact. Next phase kicks off tomorrow with Holistic Actions for Development and Empowerment, diving into hands-on #circulareconomy skills. Global Fund for Women

The second phase of the #GreenJobs & #CircularEconomy Training is underway by Holistic Actions for Development and Empowerment Participants are diving into practical, hands-on sessions that turn waste into opportunity — strengthening green skills, business ideas, and climate solutions from the grassroots.

Over the past two days, as part of the Zero Waste Academy 2025 in Durban, South Africa 🇿🇦 We’ve had the incredible opportunity to visit USE-IT NPO/NGO groundWork sorting at source model that is successful at a central market We engaged with real-world examples of zero waste.


Co-Designing #Climate & Health Solutions for Kampala’s Most Vulnerable! Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO Uganda) joined the 2nd #CASCADE City Lab by Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University & Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) to co-create #climate & health strategies reaching the last mile—spotlighting the “Storyline” approach to engage urban communities.

We have reached our 20th ton of plastic waste recovered.
