Today I unveiled a plaque marking the establishment of the ‘Centre of Excellence for Safeguards and Non-Proliferation’, a #Urenco testing and training facility supported by 🇩🇪 🇳🇱 🇬🇧 🇺🇸.

VCDNP's Noah Mayhew spoke at a #IAEAGC side event on IAEA safeguards in crisis situations, noting that the safeguards system can adapt to any crisis when the Secretariat and Member States act with a shared understanding that effective safeguards are in everyone's interest.
