On Friday, New York City Council & Mayor Eric Adams struck a deal on the FY26 budget, which, among other wins, baselines $41M for #ArtsEd in NYC Public Schools and includes a permanent $45M increase for the Department of Cultural Affairs. In response, our Executive Director issued this statement.
