5:15 PM Update: The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been lifted. Showers and a few thunderstorms are trailing just south of NYC and beginning to move into the city. Brooklyn and Queens are already seeing rain, with Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island likely to see showers
