Historically, funding for NYC libraries and NYC Cultural Affairs has been increased in the Adopted Budget by both the Administration and City Council. This year, some funding was already added in the Executive Budget, so IBO will be looking out for any shifts in cultural funding.

In January, the Adams administration announced a $650 million mental health spending plan, including 900 new Safe Haven beds. IBO is paying attention to see if the Adopted Budget includes any additional changes tied to this plan.
