Saddened to have received the devastating news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll on 8th September 2022. The New Zealand Consulate in Mumbai mourns the loss of our longest-reigning Sovereign who governed with such nobility, dignity, and grace for all these years.

Was a magic experience to be part of the Ganesh Immersion event hosted by the BMC at Girgaon Chowpatty Beach here in Mumbai. Equally important is the clean up the next day. Several CGs and I joined a Cleanathon event managed by the Bhamla and Divyaj Foundations at Juhu Beach. 🌊

Signing the book of condolence for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

It was great to accompany the Hon. Meka Whaitiri, New Zealand’s Minister of Customs, to the Suri Agro Cold Storage Facility to learn about how Suri Agro uses its award-winning cold storage technology to handle New Zealand produce. The fruit juice technology is a welcome addition.

It was a pleasure to attend a networking at the New Zealand High Commission where Minister O’Connor and New Zealand exporters had the opportunity to build and strengthen their connections with members of the Indian business community.

It was an honour to be asked by Dr Satyendra Kumar Upadhyay, to give a guest lecture on "International Relations and Diplomacy" to MBA Students at the International Business school of K J Somaiya Institute of Management, K J Somaiya Institute of Management. Watch this space.

Was lovely to escape this weekend and enjoy the great hospitality and spectacular nature at The Blackbuck lodge in Gujarat. The excellent food, luxurious and sustainable accommodation and impressive wildlife on your doorstep makes for a truly magical experience.

Was a privilege to be invited to the launch of the SAI Hospital Dialysis Centre here in Dharavi, Mumbai. Thanks to Mr Nimesh Shah and his team at Caring Friends for their generous donation of ten dialysis machines that provide critical, life-saving medical support to patients.

It was a privilege to be part of the #RemembranceDay service hosted by the British Deputy High Commission, Mumbai and the Ex-Services’ Association at St. Thomas’ Cathedral. Consuls from around the world paid tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.

It was really nice to be invited by Mr Riyhad Kundanmal - Polo Chairman, to watch a fantastic polo match at Mahalaxmi Racecourse Mumbai. It's not often you get to sit next to Akbar Khan - Indian actor/director and discuss the intricacies of polo surrounded by family and friends.
