Let’s go!! Been on the edge of my seat all day waiting for this result! First woman to complete the Barkley Marathons with less than 2 minutes to spare! It’s been a long time coming ✊🏾 (and if you don’t know what the Barkley Marathons are, take a minute to look it up 👀)

This is one of the most wholesome moments I’ve seen in a long time. This young girl brought to tears after Kamilla_Cardoso signs her ‘Everyone watches women’s sports’ sweatshirt. She has a dawnstaley autograph on there too!! Got choked up shooting this 🥹 @GamcockWBB

And Gabby is just the first runner confirmed... more to come... and all I ask is that the amazing track community I see online across x/ig/tt all keep showing up for these stars. I want to do everything I can to create something sustainable for these women in between Olympics.

Pros racing at college meets. I love opening up the season in off events against collegians fresh off XC season, setting up fast races at BU meets, and getting to end a meet with a 4x4…BUT I’d give it up if it would help this sport more clearly define what it means to be a pro.

It’s not a credit/blame thing. God gets all the glory, honor, and praise in both the wins and losses because He is worthy of that regardless of the outcome of a given sporting event (race in my case).
