I am delighted to see that The Handbook of Poetic Forms, edited by Jessica Bundschuh and Irmtraud Huber, has gone to press with de Gruyter. I have a chapter on the stanza in it, and my friend and colleague, Eoin Flannery, has one on the ode. A great book! 😄

This is a wonderful project, looking at ethics and aesthetics in areas of conflict, and I am delighted to have Ailbhe, Julie and Leah working in the Department of English Language and Literature as they pursue this very significant research project. 😀😃
