Some things never change #galway

It’s a sad day today as we bid farewell to a wonderful neighbour Liam Garvey who is closing his shop. In an age of chain stores and online shopping, Liam’s gift shop was a breath of fresh air and we will never the likes of it again. Galway has lost a bit of its sparkle today.

We have changed how we give out paper bags in our little family run business. Every week, hundreds of people come into our shop asking for a bag for stuff they bought in other shops. We will now charge €1 and put the €1 coin into charity box.
