The 6 Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce cancers - those of the oesophagus, pancreas, lung, liver, stomach and brain have the shortage survival times of all cancers #CloseTheDeadlyCancerGap.

This week I was delighted to host a parliamentary reception with Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce to mark Less Survivable Cancers week. Getting earlier diagnosis and treatment will improve survival rates and priority needs to be given to this as part of the Cancer Strategy.


Team Ochre is a bit emotional today. The outstanding team of Melissa and Lexi from Smithycroft Secondary have only gone and won YPI Scotland for us! £3000 to create an app to deliver support and advice for patients everywhere. Thank you, girls. You are AMAZING! ❤️
