Prior to Jason O’halloran 2⃣2⃣ this past weekend, the last Australian to win the 24 Heures Motos aboard a Yamaha R1 was Steve Martin in 2009. Riding alongside Igor German and Gwen Giabbani, Martin and his YART Yamaha teammates went on to be crowned Endurance World Champions that same year.
