Incredibly thankful to every single person at Uncommitted National Movement 🌺 for creating a vehicle to apply pressure using all the levers available to us. While there’s a lot of conversations about the speaker slot, it was a culmination of months of intense work. Thread 👇🏼1/

With regret but full solidarity, I have pulled out of a speaking event this fall Columbia University University. The student suspensions continue as does punitive behaviour towards staff. 1400 academics signed a boycott letter in the early summer, & until things change, we must stay firm.

Can't not share again--by Madeline Sayet :) u.osu.edu/shakespearepos…

grateful to Arizona Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies and Throughlines for wanting to know more about where Indigenous Shakespeare productions fit into the wider landscape of the Contemporary Native Theatre movement, history, erasure, resilience, and some of the many Native artists work involved.

Anyone teaching a Renaissance literature survey this semester? Dennis Britton offers a sharp and fascinating read on The Faerie Queene and race. Be sure to watch the full video here throughlines.org/suite-content/…

I am delighted to announce that the journal special issue of Borrowers & Lenders on #Shakespeare and #Bengal is now out! Warmest thanks to everyone who made this possible. borrowers-ojs-azsu.tdl.org/borrowers/issu…. It has been an amazing journey.

.ProPublica is doing some incredible work focusing on the dire consequences of a Trump win. This is the information voters are craving, not the latest poll results. Be sure to read & share. This stuff is important. It's also really good journalism.
