Maybe I'm too woke, but if this course was about how the Holy Roman Empire and Austrian policies shaped Beethoven, people wouldn't bat an eye. This course appears to be about how Compton and urban policy shaped Kendrick's music, which is a great way to show how things connect.

The ability to draw connections is probably one of the few areas less vulnerable to AI. Other areas of high pay — coding, law, accounting, etc — may be replaced by a computer in the near future. It's not totally unreasonable to teach students how to draw ideas together.
